村中住户273户，人口962人，分为5个自然村与6个村民小组，年份未注。以农业为主，岩葱、竹笋和茶叶是几项主要收入。2011年村集体收入10.49万元，人均纯收入7938元。[1]
沿革[edit]
清前期这里归感化里六至八都的上陵保。1952年起隶属第五区西荣乡，此后经西荣大队、茶场公社等建制变动；1961年析出淡溪大队，1984年设莲花乡淡溪村委会。[1]
