洪塘头社区是福建省厦门市同安区美林街道下辖的社区，下辖11个自然村。村落建在池塘与红泥岗旁，因此得名。[1][2]

社区2007年由村改为居，此前隶属西柯镇；2022年4月划入新设的美林街道。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

从清代直到民国31年（1942年），此地为仁德里十一都的洪塘头保所辖。民国42年（1953年）改隶集美乡，保名为洪霞保。[2]

1950年，洪霞乡成为第七区的基层单位。1956年划为策槽区的美山乡。1959年一度称美峰大队，并隶属天马种猪场。[2]

1961年改由策槽公社管辖，1984年撤社建乡，1991年乡改为镇。2007年由村改居，称西柯镇洪塘头社区。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2007年，社区党总支与居委会、老体协共同推动「康乐社区」创建，同安区文体局与区老体协把它定为区里首个此类示范点。[3]

2010年9月25日，福建省老年人协会授予该社区「海西康乐社区」荣誉称号。[2][3]
