地理环境[edit]
社区下辖9个自然村：「刘塘」「墙后」「土楼」「宋厝」「上坑」「新桥」「后路」「前山」「九层林」，共11个村民小组。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
清代时此地属从顺里，是四都与五都的康方保。1943年并入塘柑乡，称康前保。1950年归第七区，成为禾山乡。[1]
1956年划入策槽区新民乡。1959年，策槽公社下设禾山大队。1984年建禾山村委会，此后（1991年为镇，1992年称新民镇）归新民镇辖。2006年转为禾山社区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年2月，禾山社区入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
