祥平街道是福建省厦门市同安区下辖的街道，位于同安区中部、西溪西南岸，辖区面积约29平方千米，街道办事处驻凤祥社区。[1][3]

街道现辖9个社区和2个行政村。这一格局是2022年行政区划调整后形成的。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代至民国前期，这里的城区称「在坊里」。新中国成立后，这一带先后改称城关公社、城关镇，1984年又恢复为大同镇之名。[1]

2000年，大同镇被分开：一部分设为祥平街道，其余为大同街道。[1][4]

街道之名来自辖内的「祥平路」，寓祥和平安之意。[3]

2022年，因区划调整析出祥和街道，祥平街道下辖的村社区随之调整为现状。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

西溪在辖区东侧，隔溪即是大同街道；瑶江在东南侧，与洪塘镇分界。境内有324国道、206省道，另有福厦高速与同集快速路经过。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

同安施氏大厝位于祥露街123号，属市级文物保护单位，建于清代，是施琅驻防同安时期的住宅建筑群遗存，现存一座三进平屋及左侧护厝。1657至1663年间，施琅在同安驻守期间曾住在这座宅院。[3][5]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，祥平街道入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[3]
