后垵村位于后溪镇中部，地形如马鞍，村名由此而来。全村辖后垵、田厝、窗内、东厝寨4个自然村。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清末此地为前后王保，民国时归集美乡珩山保管辖。1955年10月归珩东乡，次年6月改隶海山乡，1958年10月并入后溪公社珩东大队。[2]

1961年9月，海山公社设立，珩东大队分拆为崎沟、东宅、后垵、东埔四个大队。1964年5月海山公社并回后溪公社。1968年9月，后垵与崎沟、东宅合为珩山大队，1982年再度析分。1984年10月，设后溪乡后垵村委会，1987年划归集美区。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的圣果院，博雅地名网记为区级文物保护单位，建于唐代。院内墙嵌有两徵勋迹碑，另有清乾隆四十九年（1784年）立的邑侯刘功德碑。[1][4]

经济[edit]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，后垵村三次列入淘宝村名单。2021年11月，被命名为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
