三兴社区位于后溪镇，前身是许庄行政村。社区名称取自原先的三个居民小组（许庄、大坊、崎洋），寓意三个小组人丁兴旺。2009年，许庄村委会迁址并改制为三兴社区居委会。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

许姓人家于明代嘉靖年间在许庄开基。1955年10月，许庄划入石兜乡；1958年10月，它成为郊区后溪公社的许庄大队。[2]

1959年，此处设坂头林业垦殖场，村子归其管辖。1980年7月15日起归国营厦门坂头防护林场。1984年改为许庄村委会，2005年10月划入后溪镇。[2]

2009年3月，许庄村委会迁址，改制为三兴社区居委会。此前的2007年9月，为保护坂头水库的水源，许庄、大坊、崎洋三社共265户村民迁入三兴二里。[1][2]

经济[edit]

2024年4月，社区被认定为2024年厦门市「一村一品」专业村，项目为许庄沃柑。[1]
