历史沿革[edit]
清代分散归属几个保。民国时划为灌口镇浦林保，建国初曾归灌口区浦林乡，又一度归灌口镇。1956年改入灌口区灌口乡。[1]
市里于2011年把浦林村定为新农村建设的市级试点。1958年起属郊区灌口公社浦林大队，1984年设为村委会，1987年划归集美区。[1]
文物古迹[edit]
浦林龙西宫位于杜岱社35号旁，建于清代。建筑为单体，属大厝形式，梁架为抬梁式，面阔三间。[2]
浦林东亭宫在刺林内社315号旁。它的始建时间不明，1897年（光绪二十三年）重建，2004年修缮。[2]
刺林内谢氏宗祠位于刺林内社143号，始建于明代，清代重建，1992年重修。祠前有石埕，前埕立旗杆石两对。[3]
刺林内铳楼位于刺林内社266号旁，建于清末民初，为三层红砖楼，四周布设枪眼。[4]
林坑社48、49号的民居建于清代，为三合院形式，加左右两列护厝，角门上方保留着漆金木雕门罩。[3]
