陈井村位于灌口镇南面，西南与东孚镇贞岱村相邻，东南临海。村中有陈氏家庙、定光堂等古迹。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
陈井原是单一的自然村。清代隶属陈井保，民国时期为灌口镇陈井保。1956年归灌口区灌口乡，1958年划作郊区灌口公社的陈井大队。[1]
1984年起设陈井村委会，1987年划入集美区。[1]
文物古迹[edit]
陈氏家庙位于陈井二里156号，始建于明代；1712年（清康熙五十一年）重建，之后在光绪年间以及1987年、1991年都曾修缮。庙南壁立有康熙五十一年的祖祠碑。[2]
陈井定光堂在陈井一里160号。它在1841年（道光二十一年）被重建，1907年（光绪三十三年）经过修葺，2000年又重修了两廊和部分梁柱、屋顶。[3]
陈井“红楼”位于陈井二里117号，建于1930年代，为二层半洋楼，墙面以红色雁字砖砌建。房主陈氏是缅甸华侨。[2]
