历史沿革[edit]
明清两代，此地属同安县安仁里十五都，清末另设东山后保。民国时属灌口镇三社保；建国初先后归三社乡与李林乡管辖。[1]
1956年年底改归灌口区张庄乡；1958年4月组成郊区灌口公社的顶许大队；1984年10月设顶许村委会。[1]
文物古迹[edit]
下许许氏祖厝位于下许社32号旁，是顶许村许氏长房的祖厝。现存后落为二层楼结构，墙体以三合土夯筑，当地称为“土楼”。中落墙上原嵌有清乾隆五十七年（1792年）的黑石碑，现存放于净心堂内。[4]
顶许许氏宗祠在下许社，编号88号，清乾隆六十年（1795年）建成，2007年重修过。祠内东壁立有清乾隆六十年的《许氏季房祠堂碑记》。[4][5]
顶许净心堂建于清雍正九年（1731年）。民国十二年（1923年）修过，道光十二年（1832年）重建。“文化大革命”期间改作仓库。[3]
顶许破寨仔寨址呈长方形，设西、南两道寨门，西门旁的大榕树下仍可见门洞。[6]
