黄庄社区位于灌口镇中南部，北面连着灌口镇旧城区，南面是汽车城，东边为厦工与三圈，所在位置处于厦门机械工业集中区的东北侧。社区名称因黄姓族人聚居而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属安仁里十五都黄珩保。民国时隶属灌口镇灌口保，1958年划为郊区灌口公社的黄庄大队。[1]

1961年改设蔬菜农场的黄庄作业区，1976年恢复为大队；1984年起设黄庄村委会，隶属灌口镇，1987年划入集美区。[1]

进入21世纪后，灌口南部辟为厦门机械工业集中区；同年，黄庄村委会转为社区。[1]

新农村建设[edit]

市里于2006年把黄庄列为首批新农村建设试点村之一。此后修建了道路、排水沟和老年人活动中心等设施，并建有外口公寓作为集体经济项目。[1]

文物古迹[edit]

黄庄桥位于社区北约470米处，为双孔石梁桥，横跨中港溪，桥墩呈船首形，建于宋代。[2][3]

卡仔塘遗址位于社区北面500米的农田中，始建于宋，原是一片低洼的蓄水池塘，东南端建有拦水坝，现存泄水道口和一段残坝，为市级文物保护单位。[2][3]

黄庄福寿宫为前后两殿，中间以天井相隔，清光绪年间重建，2002年又经修缮。[4]

黄庄杜氏祠堂于1999年重建，现存后落，院内立有清光绪二十八年（1902年）的《清界捐缘碑》。该祠始建于清末。[5]
