马銮社区位于集美区杏滨街道南部，地处杏林台商投资区之内，东临杏南路，西邻马銮湾，占地3.73平方千米，驻地在马銮路19号。[1]社区由马銮、后尾、银尾、扶摇、碑头五个自然村组成。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据《晋安杜氏族谱》的记载，宋末杜仁兄弟随父避乱，由漳州一路来到同安县安仁里，途中马铃脱落，勒住缰绳收回马铃后，看中了这里的山海形势，决定在此聚族而居，地名因此称为“马銮”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，此地是安仁里十六都的马銮保。建国初期设马銮乡，随后并入西滨乡。[1]

1958年10月，此地成为灌口公社西滨大队下的马銮生产队；1961年西滨大队分出马銮大队，归前场公社管辖。1964年5月改由杏林公社管辖；1984年称杏林乡马銮村委会，2006年改制为社区。[1]

社区辖有10个居民小组与一个外口小区，居民户共1327户，常住人口4552人（据博雅地名网，年份未注）。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

据区里公布的文物普查名录，马銮的文物点包括马銮杜氏家庙（清光绪年间，市级文物保护单位）、銮井陈氏宗祠（清代，市级涉台文物），此外还有昭应宫（清道光年间）、城址（明代，即马銮城遗址）、天后宫遗址（清道光年间）与忠惠庙（清代），其余多未定级。[2]
