三秀社区位于集美区杏滨街道，处在杏林城区的中心地带，社区于2004年成立。[1]辖区内有商场、酒店、学校与企业，兼有商业、教育与居住的特点。[2]截至2024年，杏滨街道下辖8个社区，三秀为其中之一。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区一带原是曾营村的耕地，1958年此地建起工业区。[1]

1979年，纺织居委会组建；1991年，三秀居委会从纺织居委会中分设出来。2003年8月，杏林街道改属集美区，东风的一部分与杏玻（1980年以前称新华）并入三秀居委会，2004年社区改属杏滨街道。[1]社区名称来自辖内的三秀巷。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]社区先后获得厦门市文明单位、集美区平安社区等称号。[2]
