杏滨街道坐落在厦门市集美区的南部，辖区濒临西海域，隔海与厦门岛相对。[3]街道面积21.6平方千米，2004年由杏林镇撤镇改设而来。[5][6]截至2024年，它管辖锦鹤、日东、三秀、马銮、西滨、前场、锦园、康城共8个社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属同安县明盛乡安仁里，元明时期属安仁里十五、十六都。清末民初分属前场、锦园、市头、马銮、西边等保，民国后期前场、锦园、马銮、西滨等保归灌口镇管辖。[4]

新中国成立初期，登瀛、锦园、西滨、马銮、前场等地先后设乡。1984年时，锦园、前场、马銮、西滨四处为杏林乡下的村委会，杏林街道则另有盐场、西化、杏玻、白鹤、日东、杏堤六个居委会；盐场居委会1988年改称龙泉，1991年，三秀居委会从杏林街道分出。[4]

2003年8月，杏林镇与杏林街道划归集美区，杏林街道的社区经过整合，前场、西滨、马銮、锦园四处村委会随之划入。2004年，杏林镇撤镇，设立杏滨街道，管辖三秀、杏堤、日东三个社区及四个村委会；此后在2006年，村委会陆续改为社区。[4][5][6]

地理环境[edit]

街道在集美区南部。区境南端的马銮即在本街道辖区内。[1]辖区濒临西海域，隔海与厦门岛相对。[3]

人口民族[edit]

据百度百科，截至2019年末，户籍人口有54900人。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

第三次全国文物普查的不可移动文物名录中，登记地址在本街道辖区的有一批文物点，其中马銮杜氏家庙（清光绪年间）和杜四端墓（1931年）为市级文物保护单位，銮井陈氏宗祠（清代）列为市级涉台文物，其余多未定级。[7]

2021年2月，街道在「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单中上榜。[2]
