银亭社区是福建省厦门市集美区集美街道下辖的社区，与岑东、岑西、浔江、盛光和湖美社区相邻。[1]
地名由来[edit]
社区辖内有银亭路，故以路名为社区名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清末，此地属岑头保和浔尾保；民国年间先后隶属集美乡的浔尾保和集美保。[2]
1953年，此地归郊区集美镇第一大队；1959年改为小农场，1970年又归第一大队。1984年10月，大队并入居委会。[2]
1991年，第一居委会更名为岑头居委会，同年5月岑头居委会拆分，此地的一部分由此划出。此后此地辟为集美大学的体育、师范、水产和轮机工程学院新校区。[2]
1997年9月，北部部分地区析出，设立本居委会。1999年，另一居委会并入本居委会。2001年，本居委会又析出一个居委会。2003年，析出的居委会整体并回本社区。[2]
