岑东社区是福建省厦门市集美区集美街道下辖的社区，位于街道南部。[1]
地名由来[edit]
社区驻地在岑东路一带，故以路名为社区名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清末，此地属岑头保和浔尾保；民国时期先后隶属集美乡的浔尾保和集美保。[2]
1953年11月，此地划属郊区集美镇的第一大队，1959年改设小农场，1970年复属原大队。1976年设为第一居委会，1983年又从中析出一个居委会。[2]1987年7月，郊区改为集美区。[2]
1991年，第一居委会更名为岑头居委会；同年5月，岑头居委会拆分，本社区由此设立。1997年9月，社区北部析出另设居委会。[2]
2001年3月起属集美街道；此后，2003年5月又有另一居委会整体并入。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
