象屿保税区是厦门市首个海关特殊监管区域，位于湖里区，1992年10月经国务院批准设立，1993年11月开始封关运作。[2][3]此后区内建成保税物流园区，2020年12月经整合，厦门象屿综合保税区由此形成。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1992年10月，国务院批准设立象屿保税区，当时的面积为0.63平方千米。[2][3]1993年11月，该区开始运作，成为厦门首个处于海关严密监管之下的区域。[3]

2004年8月，象屿保税物流园区被国务院列为首批「区港联动」试点之一。[2][3]2005年，厦门市把象屿保税区与周边区域整合，组建现代物流园区。[1]

2014年，象屿保税物流园区被评为「2014年全国优秀物流园区」，福建省内仅此一家获得这一称号。[2]

2020年12月，园区经整合后形成厦门象屿综合保税区，这是厦门的第一个综合保税区。[2]

经济[edit]

区内主要经营进出口贸易、保税仓储、保税加工和商品展示，在进出口、税收、外汇、加工贸易和海关监管等方面享有保税政策。[2]

象屿保税物流园区与东渡港区实行区港联动，两者之间设有直通通道，货物进出可在园区内直接通关。[2]

据管委会网站，区内有30多家世界500强企业入驻，产业以现代物流为主。[2]
