金尚社区地处江头街道的金尚路东侧，毗邻后埔、后坑、蔡塘等村，面积约1平方千米，由金尚小区和周边八个花园组成。[1]

地名由来[edit]

金尚路经过金山、坂尚两地，因而得名，社区名称由该路派生。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。2024年4月，社区入选「2024年厦门市儿童友好示范社区」名单；同年12月，社区上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
