兴隆社区是福建省厦门市湖里区殿前街道下辖的社区，辖区以兴隆路一带为主，因路名而得名。社区1998年5月由禾山镇马垅村委会析出的火炬高科技创业园区及周边居住区组建居委会，2003年改制为社区。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带原属马垅村，20世纪80年代末，园区开始在此建设。1998年5月，禾山镇马垅村委会把园区一带的若干居民区和宿舍楼划出，组建兴隆与兴禾两个居委会。[3]

兴禾在2000年并入兴隆，同时归殿前街道管辖。2003年，兴隆改为社区；2010年8月，有12个居民小区从中析出，另设兴园社区。[3]

2021年2月，社区名列「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；同年11月，福建省爱卫办授予社区「2021年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区辖区内有火炬高技术产业开发区与源益工业区两个工业园区，驻有工厂和企事业单位，配有学校、医疗机构和便民网点。[2]
