殿前街道是福建省厦门市湖里区下辖的街道，位于厦门岛西北部，2000年5月由禾山镇析设，是岛内面积最大的街道。辖区共有9个社区，其中高殿、马垅两个社区由村改制而来，城中村的面积较大，外来人口也多。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代以来，这一带属嘉禾里二十四都。民国初年分设殿前保与寨上保，抗战胜利后又分属高安保和殿上保；新中国成立初期，此地称高殿乡。[3]

1984年，此地归禾山乡（1989年改镇）管辖；1998年底，禾山镇下辖兴隆居委会以及高殿、马垅两村。2000年5月，禾山镇析出部分辖区，设立殿前街道。[3]

地名“殿前”原作“店前”。店前一带旧时是商业集中之地，乡民常以店铺作地标，有“家住某某店前”的说法；后来“店前”成为地片名，清代才雅化为“殿前”。[2]

街道的荣誉有「国家级节约型公共机构示范单位」「省级文明单位」「省先进基层党组织」等。2023年，街道被市委组织部授予「厦门党员教育实训基地（2023-2024年）」。[1]

此外，街道曾被列为「全国百家示范乡镇（街道）工会」，2021年2月又入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

殿前街道位于厦门岛西北部，隔海与集美半岛相对，辖区面积据区政府网站为29.82平方千米，约为全区的三分之一。[1]

辖内有高崎国际机场与象屿码头，厦门大桥、杏林大桥、集美大桥等跨海通道在此相连，鹰厦线铁路经过，地铁1号线和3号线亦穿越辖区，因此素有“鹭岛门户”之称。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

区政府网站所载，全街道共约21.66万人（总人口），由5.1万常住人口与16.56万外来人口组成；高殿、马垅两个城中村社区涉及常住人口16.46万人，两社区面积共2.49平方千米。[1]

经济[edit]

辖区内有自贸区（象屿保税区、航空港片区）与火炬高新区两个国家级园区，产业门类包括影视文创、商贸服务、现代物流与高端制造，航空维修基地、集成电路产业园和融资租赁企业也设在此处。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

神山社区的陈胜元故居为市级文物保护单位，建于清乾隆年间。故居原在思明区，迁建工程2003年冬动工，2006年12月在殿前六路落成。[2][4]

厦门海堤建于1953年6月，1955年9月竣工，全长二二一二米，是我国首条花岗岩跨海长堤；海堤精神也诞生在殿前。[1][2]

1960年秋，朱德为海堤纪念碑题写“移山填海”四字；2004年11月，纪念碑被列为「第五批市级文物保护单位」。据其保护范围所载，纪念碑东南一侧邻接高崎村。[5]

神山曾是解放厦门时第一面红旗的插立之地；辖区内的红色遗迹还包括「中共（闽中）厦门工委高崎地下交通站遗址」「后莲萍解放战争遗址」以及「马垅军民团结大榕树」。[1]
