兴华社区位于湖里街道北部，2006年自徐厝社区析置组建，社区名取自辖内悦华路与兴隆路的命名。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区名由辖内的悦华路、兴隆路派生而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里原是湖里社与徐厝社的农田，之后成为湖里工业区的主要基地，区内先后有厦华电子公司、东南铝业、印华地砖厂等企业。[1]

2006年5月，社区从徐厝社区析置组建，同年6月正式成立。如今社区以居住区和工业企业相混合，多为中高层建筑。[1][2]
