芸美村位于东孚街道东南片区，在马銮湾西岸的海滩尽头，距东孚街道约6公里，村委会驻芸美村。[1]

村辖芸美、埭头两个自然村，村名原称「芸尾」，后因谐音改为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早年属积善里霞美保，抗战期间归鼎山乡鼎美保，鼎山乡随后并入角尾乡。建国后属鼎美乡，1958年设东孚公社芸尾大队；1960年一度属第一农场，1970年东孚公社重新接收此地。1984年设芸尾村委会，后谐音雅化为今名。[1]

文化习俗[edit]

村中的「送王船」习俗开始于明初。古时渔民以出海为生，借送王船的仪式祈求风调雨顺，每四年一次迎王送王。仪式中还有南音、歌仔戏等活动。[1][2]
