地理环境[edit]
村域面积280亩，农业用地1100亩。西面与南面为基本农田用地，马銮湾的湿地、溪流和果林环绕村庄。[2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
民国初属积善里十八都霞美保，抗战期间归鼎山乡后祥保，鼎山乡随后并入角尾乡。建国后先属后祥乡、鼎美乡，1958年起为东孚公社后祥大队；1960年一度划入第一农场，1970年改称后柯大队，1984年设后柯村委会。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中祠堂众多，有「一经堂」「海印堂」「思成堂」「敦厚堂」「时思堂」「自我堂」「垂裕堂」「追远堂」等。其中「一经堂」为柯翰故居。[1][2]
著名人物[edit]
新加坡前内阁资政李光耀的夫人柯玉芝，其故乡即为本村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年2月，后柯村入选「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[2]
