鼎美村位于东孚街道东南部，濒临马銮湾，与龙海角美街道以一山相隔。村辖鼎美、龙门两个自然村。[1][2]
村属客家古村落，其开基祖念八郎于元代自永定下洋迁入，村内保存着明代胡氏家庙「敦睦堂」。村曾是革命老区基点村。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
村西南有文圃山，形如倒置的鼎，俗称鼎山，村位于鼎山之尾，原称「鼎尾」，后改用雅名「鼎美」。明清时期村中一条街店铺林立，商船自鼎美码头通往厦门、同安，民国时期逐渐衰落。[2]
民国初属积善里十八都霞美保，抗战期间归鼎山乡鼎美保，鼎山乡随后并入角尾乡。建国后称鼎美乡，1958年设东孚公社鼎美大队；1960年一度属第一农场，1970年东孚公社重新接收此地。1984年改设鼎美村委会，2015年改称东孚街道鼎美村民委员会。[2]

截至2016年7月，村内共有4146人，其中户籍2946人，外来1200人。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
胡氏家庙敦睦堂是本村最大的明清古建筑，共三进，门前保留有六座功名旗杆硖。明代文人何乔远为之题匾「百代瞻依」。另有一块钦赐牌匾，题写「忠勇」二字，据称与一段抗倭事迹有关。[2][3]
