过坂社区位于东孚街道东北部，坐落在天竺山脚下，2012年4月由过坂村改设社区。[1][2]

社区总面积约2.5平方千米，由过坂、大溪、后坑、杨厝四个居民小组组成。社区名称早年取自此地以郭姓居多的聚居情况，因郭、过同音而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地属角尾乡莲花保。1958年10月，设为东孚公社过坂大队。1987年7月，过坂村析出莲花、洪塘两个村委会。[2][3]

2012年4月，过坂改为社区居民委员会，即「村改居」。[2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内的集福堂是一座历史悠久的庙宇，始建于明太祖元年（1368年）。堂内尚存明代须弥座、青石透雕龙柱和古碑刻三件遗物。[2]

荣誉[edit]

社区先后获得多项荣誉：「2019年中国美丽休闲乡村」（2019年11月）、「第二批国家森林乡村」（2019年12月）、「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」（2020年12月）、「第十二批全国一村一品示范村镇」（2023年3月，花卉）。[1][2]
