天竺社区是东孚街道下辖的社区，位于东孚新城中心，2011年5月设立。[1]
社区辖区面积约110万平方米，四至分别以沈海高速公路、东孚大道（324国道）、东孚商业街西侧道路和天竺山路为界。社区是东孚街道内以拆迁安置为主的社区。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
天竺社区居委会于2011年5月成立。社区内的天竺花园是东孚街道最早建成并入住的拆迁安置小区，2009年起陆续有东孚各村的拆迁户迁入。[1][2]
社区以「一院三中心」的方式推进居民自治，社区书院以传承家风家训的做法而受到关注。[2]
人口民族[edit]
2016年4月的统计显示，社区总人口5800人，户籍居民1500人，外来居住者800人。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年2月，天竺社区入选「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
