北附小社区位于海沧区嵩屿街道北部，东以海沧大道为界，北接嵩屿中路，南达建港路，西侧依京口岩山。社区名称来自辖内的北京师范大学海沧附属小学。[1]

社区于2013年5月成立，由未来海岸社区析出，面积约1平方千米，设在京口岩小区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

2008年，因征地拆迁安置的需要，此地设京口筹备组。2013年5月，原未来海岸社区以嵩屿中路为界一分为二，析出北附小社区，当时隶属海沧街道办事处。2015年7月，海沧街道拆分后，本社区改由嵩屿街道办事处管辖，并与之相邻，是街道的政治中心所在地。[1]

人口与居住[edit]

社区人口约八千多人，其中流动人口约两千多人。辖区有14个住宅小区。社区两委成员7人，网格员15人，社区党总支下设2个支部，在册党员72人。[2]

经济与设施[edit]

辖区内有嵩屿社区卫生服务中心、银行，以及海关、边检、海事等单位，海联商务大厦、温德姆酒店也在附近。社区还与厦门外国语学校、北师大海沧附属学校合作，以推动学习型社区建设。[1]
