翁厝社区在新阳街道东北侧。南面为翁角路，西面到霞美路，北面以霞光北路和霞阳南路为界，东面到新阳大桥。2021年4月经区政府批准设立，由兴旺社区分出。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年度，社区因在志愿服务上有所创新，获评「全国学雷锋志愿服务“四个100”先进典型社区」，名单于2023年公布。[1]

2024年1月，社区被命名为2023年「福建省卫生社区」。[2][3]
