兴祥社区位于海沧区新阳街道西北部，毗邻马銮湾，于2018年8月成立。社区名称寓意兴旺、祥和。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
2018年，新阳街道提请区政府审批同意设立该社区，同年8月正式成立。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
2024年4月，社区入选「2024年厦门市儿童友好示范社区」名单；同年12月，又上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
