霞阳社区位于海沧区新阳街道东北部，处在新阳工业区之内。社区北面临九号路，南侧沿翁角路，面积约0.47平方千米。2005年由村改居，前身为霞阳村，社区内还留有杨氏宗祠与应元宫两处与台湾有关的文物。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，社区的历史可追溯到元末杨德卿在此开基。2005年村改居后，社区党委下设5个党支部，辖10个村民小组。2024年起，社区成为海沧区城中村现代化治理的试点村。[1][3]
社区先后获得省、市、区三级「先进基层党组织」的表彰。2023年「福建省卫生社区」的称号，于2024年1月授予霞阳社区。[2][3]
文物[edit]
社区内建有明代始建的杨氏宗祠，还有应元宫，两者都属于与台湾有关的文物。[1]
