地名由来[edit]
辖内有盈翠里、盈翠西路，社区因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清末这里属嘉禾里。1986年，盈翠里、玉荷里、映碧里三处居委会归梧村街道管辖，次年转隶莲前街道。[3]
2000年6月，映碧里、玉荷里和盈翠里被划给嘉莲街道。2001年8月，玉荷里与映碧里并成莲花一村社区，盈翠里一带保留为盈翠社区；2003年5月，莲花一村又合入盈翠社区。[3]
人口民族[edit]
社区常住人口9410人，另有流动人口10545人。流动人口中，居住的有2157人，用工的有8388人。[2]
文化[edit]
社区获得的荣誉包括「国家人口与计划生育基层群众自治示范社区」「福建省文明社区」「福建省居家养老示范单位」「思明区计划生育优秀社区居委会」等称号。2021年2月，盈翠社区入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1][2]
