官任社区位于福建省厦门市思明区筼筜街道，以官任路得名。它的前身是筼筜湾北岸狐尾山南坡的小村官浔，建国后改称官任。1970年筼筜海堤建成后，社区东南部土地大幅增加，2001年改制为社区居委会。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区名取自官任路。其前身有小村名「官浔」，方言读作官任，建国后改为官任，位于筼筜湾北岸、狐尾山南坡[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1970年建成筼筜海堤后，滩涂变陆，社区东南的土地大幅扩展。改革开放后，凤凰山庄、振兴新村、石亭小区和筼筜西小区等相继在此建起[1]。

1981年，这里划归开元区湖里街道并设官任居委会；1983年以后又先后设建兴、湖新、凤凰山庄、建业等居委会。1998年7月，湖滨北路以南的一部分由湖里区划入开元区筼筜街道。2001年8月改为建业、官任两社区，2003年4月建业并入官任社区[1]。
