金桥社区位于福建省厦门市思明区筼筜街道，因辖内金桥路得名。社区地块原分属官任社与仙岳社，1970年建成筼筜海堤后成陆，2003年由育星、岳星两居委会合并为金桥社区居委会。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区名来自辖内的金桥路[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1970年修筑筼筜海堤之前，港内的成片滩涂尚未成为陆地，海堤建成后才连成一片。1980年代起，厦新、华星、育星、岳宏等居委会陆续设立[1]。

1999年至2001年间，华星并入育星，厦新与岳宏各取一部分合组为岳星居委会；2001年8月育星、岳星改为社区居委会，2003年两者合为金桥社区[1]。
