仙阁社区位于福建省厦门市思明区筼筜街道，因在仙岳山南麓居民区而得名。此地原是西郭社的农地，1984年西郭改为居委会，1996年由西郭析出多个居委会，2001年改制为社区居委会。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区地处仙岳山南麓的居民区，因而得名[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地原是西郭社的农地。1984年西郭改为居委会；1996年，侨祥、仙鹭、仙阁、祥阁四个居委会从中析出，1999年又析设侨岳居委会[1]。

之后几年间，祥阁和仙鹭先后归并到他处，侨祥也于2001年3月并入侨岳。同年8月侨岳与仙阁两居委会转为社区，侨岳最后在2003年并入仙阁社区[1]。
