振兴社区位于福建省厦门市思明区筼筜街道，名取「振发兴举，增强活力」之义。这一带原是官任社的滩涂，1970年建成筼筜海堤后大片土地成陆，改革开放后建起市政府大院、市委党校和振兴新村等。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里原是官任社的滩涂，1970年建成筼筜海堤，之后滩涂变为陆地，官任社的土地向东南大幅扩展。改革开放以来，市政府大院、市委党校、振兴新村和石亭路小区等相继建在这里[1]。

居委会几经分合：1980年代先后设石亭、官尾，以及振兴南、振兴北、观音山等居委会；1991年振兴南北合并为振兴居委会，并设丽亭居委会。2000年湖中新村划归振兴，2001年8月改制为石亭与振兴两社区，2003年5月石亭并入振兴社区[1]。
