希望社区是福建省厦门市思明区开元街道下辖的社区，位于城区，因辖内希望大厦而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带原是筼筜港的滩涂，海中伸出的堤埭称后江埭。1970年筼筜海堤建成后，沿岸逐渐成陆，后滨路与湖滨南路相继建成，商住楼群随之兴建，人口大量增加。[3]

1948年划归开元区，此后并入禾祥街公所的辖区，1955年前后改设为街道办事处，1956年溪岸街道吸纳了禾祥。1960年，它归公园公社后江分社。[3]

1979年，跃进居委会分出后江与湖滨；1995年白鹭洲路通车后，后江又析出梅园居委会，1996年梅园再分出希望大厦居委会，两者于2001年合为希望社区。2003年，后江北部禾祥西路以北的一块地区归入本社区。[3]

文化[edit]

2024年4月，社区入选「2024年厦门市儿童友好示范社区」名单；2024年12月，上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[2]
