双莲池社区是福建省厦门市思明区鹭江街道下辖的社区，地处老城区。东面以幸福路为界，西面到思明北路，北边靠厦禾路，南边抵大同路，辖区面积0.55平方千米。[1][2]
社区旧名双连池，原为两池相连，是厦门七池之一；后经雅化写作现名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
乾隆年间，此地分属连真、新和与大中三保；道光年间的附寨社中仍保留这三保的名目。1948年时，它的范围属于新禾、连西与养真保。[3]
1950年4月这里改归厦禾与思北两个街公所，1955年3月改为街道。1956年6月，思北与厦禾街道合并，此地跟随其中。[3]
1958年10月，本地改为厦禾公社下的分社，1979年8月重新归入厦禾街道。进入2000年后，几个居委会改由双莲池、幸福、故宫与大同下段等社区接管；2001年成立双莲池社区居委会，2003年幸福一带并入其中。[3]
荣誉[edit]
省爱卫办于2021年11月把本社区列为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
