演武社区隶属福建省厦门市思明区滨海街道，与白城、上李、曾厝垵、黄厝等社区相邻。社区名称取自辖内的演武池。郑成功驻守厦门时，曾在这一带修筑演武亭，操练陆军与水师。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

演武池旧称澳仔大池，由五老峰与蜂巢山一带的几处相连水域汇成，今天南普陀的放生池与厦门大学的芙蓉湖都在其范围之内。顶澳仔与下澳仔之间保留着一处约8000平方米的旧址，2004年依此建成演武公园。[1]

此地清末归厦港保，1935年为澳水保辖地，抗战胜利后改属大澳保。1950年并入思明区大澳保，同年改由大学街政委员会管理。1955年5月起属厦港街道东澳居委会，1958年转入厦港公社东澳分社，1966年又改归前卫公社前锋居委会。[2]

1973年前锋居委会分出厦大居委会；1982年厦大设白城家属委员会，次年改为居委会；1985年又析设北村居委会。1987年白城分出海滨新村居委会，1996年这一片划归滨海街道办事处。[2]

2002年3月，厦大、北村、白城三个居委会的部分地段（东边社南光6至9号、芙蓉10至13号一带）合并，更名为演武社区。[2]

文化[edit]

社区于2021年8月获评「2021年全国示范性老年友好型社区」，该评定由国家卫生健康委老龄司发布；同年11月，福建省爱卫办命名社区为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
