镇海社区是厦门市思明区中华街道下辖的城市社区，社区名称取自辖内的镇海路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在1969年5月前叫上古居委会，同年5月起改为镇海居委会，辖区范围没有改动。[2]

1984年，居委会沿镇海路一分为二；1997年4月，又析出一个居委会。2002年4月，名称改为镇海社区居委会；到2003年4月，它又与另一个居委会合为一体。[2]

2006年3月，邻近社区的部分地区划入本社区管辖。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区白鹿洞一带有赵纾攻剿红夷刻石，刻文为「天启癸亥冬晋阳赵纾督征到此」，系天启三年（1623年）冬所题。[3][4]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，本社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
