巡司顶社区是厦港街道下辖的社区，位于厦港老城区。社区名称源自清代设置的石浔巡检司。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

清代在此设石浔巡检司，地名因此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地清末属厦港保，抗战后分设太平、永福两保。1950年5月，本地为厦港街政委员会辖地；1955年厦港街道办事处设立，这里归永福居委会。[1]

1982年9月析置巡司顶居委会。2003年合并调整后，社区才有了今天的辖区。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2021年2月，社区列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。2022年10月，社区被命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。2024年4月，入选「2024年厦门市儿童友好示范社区」名单；2024年12月，上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
