鸿山社区是厦港街道下辖的社区，位于厦门岛西南部的老城区。社区因座落在鸿山南麓而得名。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原属厦港保，抗战胜利后另设鸿山保。20世纪50年代初，这里的街政几经调整：先组成鸿山、新民两个街政委员会，继而并入碧山街政。1955年厦港街道办事处设立后，本地归碧山居委会管理。[2]

1964年本地重归厦港街道，1966年改由前卫公社辖管。1969年，碧山居委会分出一部分设立朝阳居委会，1979年8月朝阳改名为鸿山居委会。1982年又析出大生里居委会，1990年再析设寿彭居委会。[2]

2002年，碧山居委会撤销，大生里居委会并入本社区；2003年，寿彭社区并入，此后的范围即今天的鸿山社区。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年2月，本社区列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
