东山村在福清市西北部，与永泰、闽侯、莆田三县相邻，属一都镇。村北靠山，一条溪流从东北往西南穿村而过。村中的东关寨是省级文物，始建于清乾隆年间。[1][2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

东山的名字，据博雅地名网，原先是这一带的总称。新中国成立后，乡政府设在东山南麓的大招店，此后便以东山命名。[1]

这里古属永泰县，元代归一都，明清时属丰和乡永安里。1958年成为东山大队，同年划归福清县；1961年归一都公社，1984年大队改为村委会，此后随一都镇变更隶属。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

东关寨位于村东、隔溪的山腰上，清乾隆元年（1736年）始建，系当地何姓家族出资营建的城堡式土木建筑。它自东向西依山势递升，平面近长方形，占地约4180平方米，内有99间房舍。2001年，它被列为省级文物保护单位。[1][3][4][5]

狮头坑的崖壁上刻有宋代的欧阳修题刻，为篆书“三生石”与“遗照台”两处摩崖。1988年，它进入县级文物名录。[5][6]

磊招街的东山大招桥建于清代，2016年进入县级文物名录。[5]

1935年5月，福清、莆田两地中心县委合并，组建闽中特委和闽中红军游击队，并开辟罗汉里根据地。东关寨还是「闽中红军游击队第1支队战斗地旧址」。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2016年5月，东山村被认定为「第五批省级历史文化名村」，2017年8月入选「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录，2019年6月列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录，2019年12月入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单。[1][7][8]

2021年1月，它入选「福州市乡村振兴中高级版试点村」；2021年10月，农业农村部推介它为「2021年中国美丽休闲乡村」；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名它为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年2月，它被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象，2025年11月被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
