名称来源[edit]

村舍建在五龙岩山东侧的山麓下，村名据此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代这里归南下隅方兴里管辖，清末改属东张镇。1943年划出一甲，编入方永乡东山保。1950年归第六区上店乡，1958年并入琯口大队；1961年另设东山大队，隶属镜洋公社，1979年更名东升大队，1984年改为村委会。[1]
