崔后村为福清市东张镇西部的行政村，地处偏远山区，四面环山，下辖4个自然村、8个村民小组。[1]

据博雅地名网，全村约194户、742人，未注明年份。村中耕地少而山林多，农业以果树和油菜为主。[1]

地名由来[edit]

祖先将道桥、华石一带统称“崔里洋”，此村位于崔里洋之后，故称崔后。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村域有崔后境和山腰境。宋代归长东乡新宁里，明代划入南上隅的新宁里，属图一；1910年（清宣统二年）改属东张镇。1943年归华石保，分为4甲；1950年划入第五区双金乡，1958年改隶东张公社的双溪大队。[1]

1961年单设崔后大队，1984年大队改为村委会，仍隶属东张镇。[1]
