少林村为福清市东张镇西部山区的行政村。村名取自附近的南少林寺，村周围有五老峰、少林浮、弥勒山和嵩山。[1]

村内的少林院遗址为宋代遗存，2005年被公布为福建省省级文物保护单位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年以前村名用“少林”；此后由福清县与部队共同调查，改名为泗洲村。1995年，福清市人民政府批准由泗洲村改名少林村。[1]

文化遗存[edit]

少林院遗址，年代为宋，2005年被公布为省级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，少林村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。[1]

2021年4月，少林村获评「2020年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」。[1]
