玉林村为福清市东张镇的行政村，位于镇区西部。村名在1950年前称里坪，1950年改称玉林。[1]

村内旧有通仙、忠安两境。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代归长东乡新宁里，明代属南上隅新宁里图一，清宣统二年（1910年）起隶属东张镇。1950年划入第六区玉林乡，此前的1943年设有里坪保。[1]

1958年组建玉林大队，1984年9月改设村委会，仍属东张镇。[1]
