东张镇位于福州市福清市的西北部山区，是福清市下辖的镇，全镇设1个社区居委会和18个村委会。[1][3]

镇名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：唐末此地有董姓人家聚居经商，商贸兴盛，人称“董商”，读音相近，后演变为今名。镇区古时也称“东乡”。[1][2]

镇域内有灵石山国家森林公园、南少林寺风景区和东张水库，其中灵石山公园2001年列为国家级森林公园。[4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地分属福清县的若干里。明嘉靖十一年（1532年）改分于南上隅、北二隅和西隅的里图。清宣统二年（1910年）此地称福州府福清县东张镇。[2]

民国时期镇制改为区，1952年划归第六区，1956年重新设镇。1958年改设东张人民公社，1984年12月25日，原来的乡制被撤销，改设为镇。[1]

旧镇址因东张水库修建而被淹没，1958年迁至现址。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇东的东张水库，即博雅地名网所称的石竹湖。据百度百科，它被称为全省最大的人工湖，其大坝界定了龙江干流自然资源确权登记的起始位置。[2]

镇域属亚热带季风气候，农业以水稻为主。[1][2]

经济[edit]

镇内有藤木竹器制造、食品加工和铸鼎等企业。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

灵石山国家森林公园位于镇境内、三星村西南。据百度百科，公园1992年获准设立，2001年列为国家级森林公园，总面积2275公顷，森林覆盖率为93.4%，并获评国家3A级旅游景区。[4][5]

南少林寺风景区在镇西部戴云山脉的山坳盆地中，规划面积约13平方公里，以海拔668.3米的嵩山为主。[5]

镇内还有东张新石器遗址、东张宋代窑址和唐代所建的灵石寺。[1][5]

“福清党团混合支部”诞生地旧址在玉井街玉井庙。1930年秋，省委指派福清籍党员谢廷清返乡开展工作，他借明义中学教员的身份掩护活动、联络同志。[5]

著名人物[edit]

倪朝龙（1906—1931）别号啸云，1906年12月生于东张镇炭牙底（今属先进村）。据博雅地名网，他是福清最早在当地传播马克思主义的共产党人之一，1931年病逝于南京的狱中。[5][6]

荣誉[edit]

环境保护部于2014年6月授予东张镇「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[1]

福建省爱卫办于2020年12月授予东张镇「福建省卫生乡镇」称号。[1]

东张镇于2023年12月被认定为「福州市2023年市级农业产业强镇」，主导产业是柚子。[1]
