潘厝村是福建省福州市福清市江阴镇下辖的行政村，最初是潘氏的居住地，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
唐代此地隶常德乡临江里，北宋改属崇德乡南临江里，元代沿袭，明代归孝义乡江阴里，清代归江阴乡。[2]
民国时期先隶江阴区，后划归第八区。当地设有潘厝保，隶中玉屿联保，保的隶属随后多次调整。[2]
新中国成立后，1950年至1955年8月设潘厝乡，隶第八区，其后归江阴区与渔溪区。1958年成立潘厝大队，1961年划入江阴人民公社，1984年改为村委会，1990年江阴撤乡建镇。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。之后，福建省农业农村厅把本村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，时间是2022年10月。[1]
