下堡村是福建省福州市福清市江阴镇下辖的行政村，位于琴江下游。村子地处浅海冲积地，地下水源充足，久旱仍能丰收，故称下堡。[1]

村子位于琴江下游，地属浅海冲积地，地下水源充足，旱年仍能保持收成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代此地隶常德乡临江里，北宋改属崇德乡南临江里，元代沿袭，明代归孝义乡江阴里，清代归江阴乡。[2]

民国时期此地先隶江阴区，后改属第八区。1935年10月划为一保，隶南玉屿联保；1943年另设下堡保，归下江乡管辖。[2]

新中国成立后，1950年至1955年8月设为村，隶第八区；此后归江阴区与渔溪区。1961年7月分出设立下堡大队，归江阴人民公社管辖，1984年改为村委会，1990年江阴撤乡建镇。[2]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，本村被确定为2022年度福州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]
