地名由来[edit]
村子最初位于三沃西侧，称鳌西；因在苍龙山峰的西南侧，又称鳌峰。唐末有先民迁入，其中一部分来自陕西西安，设立鳌峰境。后改名峰头。[1]
经济[edit]
村中在2013年的财政收入为8万元，农民人均纯收入1万元。[2]
侨乡[edit]
村中旅居海外的侨胞众多，许多家庭有人出国务工，旧屋逐渐被新楼替代。[2]
