东沃村是福清市新厝镇下辖的行政村，与福厦路相邻，交通便利，下辖两个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

江口港自西向东，西港自北向南，二者在村前交汇，形成一处澳口。村子原名东澳，因笔画简化改作今名东沃。传说这一带原有三处连成一线的停船沃口，本村位于东边第一处，故名。[1]

经济[edit]

2013年，村财政收入为12000元。[2]
